I love the way my home feels after a good energy clearing! Everything feels lighter, the space is calmer, and my body and mind relax. It’s why I started including clearings as part of my Feng Shui offerings. Clients often tell me afterward, “It feels so much better,” “It looks cleaner and even sounds softer in here,” and my favorite, “The kids came home and everyone was calm and getting along.”

Energy clearing is the practice of releasing stagnant, heavy, or unwanted energy from a space, sometimes even energy from past occupants that was never yours to carry. It’s an energetic reset that clears what has been emotionally or energetically lingering: low energy from not feeling well, stress from a busy week, tension from family dynamics, or the dullness that builds up when Chi isn’t moving freely.

These emotions can imprint on your space, creating a feeling of heaviness that builds over time. Regular clearing restores emotional balance, mental clarity, and a renewed sense of peace. It helps your home feel more alive and aligned with your intentions. I feel it myself, and I see it again and again with clients.

Here’s the thing: some of my business clients clear between every appointment to keep their space fresh, and that’s smart. But if your home or workspace quickly feels heavy again after clearing, that usually means something deeper is going on.
When the flow of energy in your home is blocked or unbalanced, stagnation returns quickly. Clutter, layout, or furniture placement can limit movement, keeping Chi from circulating. No amount of clearing will make the space feel consistently balanced until the flow is corrected.

That’s where Feng Shui comes in. When Chi moves smoothly through your space, clearings last longer and work more deeply. The home begins to hold harmony naturally, instead of needing constant resets.

This is exactly what I’ll be exploring in this Energy Clearing Series: four newsletters that dive into how energy clearing and Feng Shui work together.
If your space still doesn’t feel quite right, even after you’ve cleaned or cleared, this series is for you.

Stay tuned for next week’s post where I’ll share more about Energy Clearing Tools.
